Bio

I began playing guitar at age 13 and in my early 20s decided to dedicate myself to this discipline professionally. I have since been composing, arranging and  performing a wide array of genres. I enjoy working with everything from variations of  jazz, funk/R&B, music of Latin America, classical, traditional and not so traditional rock.

In 2002, I received my bachelor’s degree in guitar performance with a focus in jazz from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  In 2003 I moved to Austin TX where I spent 9 years as a guitar teacher performing with different groups like  Mongoose,  Gathering of Strings or with the ever changing POLYDACTYL HEMINGWAY.
