Testimonials:
“My son has been taking guitar lessons from Tim Doyle for over four years. I cannot speak highly enough of the job Tim does as an instructor. He has taken the time to get to really know my son and learn what motivates him to want to play the guitar. Using that knowledge he has geared my son’s lessons so that he can get the most from every lesson, stay motivated, and have fun. It is undeniable that Tim is a great guitar player and has learned how to share his talents with his students. In addition, Tim is just a really nice guy. My son enjoys coming to his lesson because he knows Tim cares, will give him his full attention, and teach him something new. If you want your child to enjoy their lesson, like their instructor, and learn how to play, all at the same time you need to enroll them with Tim Doyle.”

“Our son, John, has taken guitar lessons from Tim for the past 5 years. Tim is an exceptional teacher who challenges John to grow in his learning and creativity. John not only can play, but he has learned to read music. We are incredibly proud and amazed with John’s progress! One of my first memories of Tim was a conversation my husband, John and I had when he first started with Tim. My husband asked John to play some popular songs, and questioned why John didn’t know them & when Tim was going to teach them to him. John told us that Tim is teaching him to play his own music, not copy others. We hope John will be a student of Tim’s for many years to come!”

“At a recent school event, all the kids were asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Kevin answered, “I want to play a guitar.” I’d still like him to go into medicine. Maybe he can be a guitar-playing doctor!”

“Tim Doyle (or, as commonly called in our household, “Mr. Tim”) has been working with our son since he was eight. For the past five years, he’s been able to teach him classical and rock music. He was very good with him at the younger ages, and yet has been able to adjust his style to fit our son as he’s grown, to continue to give him quality instruction and keep him motivated. My son wouldn’t think of seeing anyone else. Mr. Tim is very mild-mannered, easy-going, flexible, and listens to our concerns. We’re very happy with him, and would recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor.”

-K. Horst
“Tim Doyle is a very sincere teacher who is passionate about his students and his teaching methods, incorporating creative ways of teaching his students, modified student by student. Along with individual lessons Tim constantly looks for opportunities to build a community among his students by having events that go beyond the standard recital, whether it be freestyle ensembles or calculated orchestrations. Both my son and myself thoroughly enjoy learning from Tim and will continue studying with Tim as long as he continues teaching.”
